A Plastic Carrier Bag
Whilst exploring the Cotswolds, I always wear good shoes… walking shoes!
I always keep cash and a card handy for those unexpected emergencies such as ice cream, beer, scones, pasties and gin……. It’s wise to have some sort of camera with you and always wear layers.
I take with me a plastic carrier bag. It’s tucked into my rucksack and is available for that moment when I want to sit on the dewy grass and watch the swans. It’s handy when I want to lay down on the 5500 year old tomb, to catch the suns rays whilst dreaming about our ancestors. It’s also there to put over my head if it rains.
So when you walk through the Cotswolds and you see a slightly innebriated chap, with ice cream sticking to pastry crumbs, on his face…. A chap who is wearing a Tesco carrier bag on his head and who may be hugging a standing stone…. Come over and say ‘hi’.
